As we bring our families together in this time of celebration and unity, we would like to have a day for anyone who would like to be present, to meet and greet family members in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. We can drop into getting to know each other better, spend time in the forest under the oaks and pines, and enjoy potluck style food and drinks. We will also have a Thread Weaving Ceremony in the late afternoon.

Thread Weaving Ceremony
In support of this monumental rite of passage for Aspen and Teja, there will be a red thread ceremony for the women/womb-keepers to participate in, and a white thread ceremony for the men to participate in. This is a ritual where family and friends will be invited to symbolically weave their prayers and blessings for Aspen and Teja into a cord. This cord will be used in a Celtic style hand tying ritual during the wedding ceremony.
*Those participating in the Red Thread ceremony are encouraged to adorn themselves with a piece of red clothing/accessory.
Wedding Day

Our wedding day will be full of celebration and ceremony, held in the beautiful forest setting of Grass Valley, California on our property, which we call Loveland.
The wedding will be officiated by Aspen's Grandma, Jyl.
After the wedding ceremony we will have a dinner and reception, followed by live music, singing, dancing.

We gratefully welcome anyone that would like to come to the land early to help setup for the ceremony and activities. There will be lunch provided for those that are present.

We would like to bring together those who are interested in joining us for a relaxing day of intention setting, self care, and family harmony.
This will include some or all of the following;
Morning time sunning meditation, QiGong, Yoga, Nature Walk, Dance and Movement, Song Circle, Sharing Time, and an optional sacred circle towards the evening hours.
